Love Affair #2 (of a triptych), was a book project created by artist Marie Weaver. A story was written, a book constructed, then de-constructed with fire. My task was to figure out how to photograph the sequence,  knowing we would have only one chance to get it right. Three 4x5 images were recorded: before, during and after the burn. Weaver produced and presented 36"x42" Iris prints in the exhibition "upSouth".
